Some of the photographs of Alfredo Macchi, from the work “War landscapes”, were chosen to be used as scenography in the George Orwell “1984” theatrical performance, adapted by Matthew Dunster and directed by Angharad Ormond, scheduled at Theatro Technis, Camden Town, London,by Tower Theatre Company.
Formed in 1932, the Tower Theatre Company has always aimed to provide high quality, affordable drama, enabling people of all ages and backgrounds to experience every aspect of live theatre. The company has more than 700 members and friends, presenting up to 18 productions a year. After 15 years of performing in various London venues, the company has purchased a building in Stoke Newington and will produce all future projects from this new home.
